The tint blends this color into the image based on luminance. Bright areas take on more of the tint color.

What this tool does

Apply a consistent color tone or wash to your entire image library in one batch. PixelForge's image tinting tool blends a chosen color into the luminance of each image — warming up photos with an amber tint, cooling them with blue, or creating a branded color treatment. Perfect for social media content batches, editorial photo series, and product image color theming.

Problems it solves

  • Applying a warm golden tint to a batch of food or lifestyle photos for Instagram
  • Creating a cool, desaturated brand tone across a product catalog
  • Adding a sepia wash to vintage-style portrait series
  • Color-grading a set of editorial photos with a consistent tonal theme

Example

Apply a warm amber tint to 200 lifestyle photos for consistent brand color

Frequently asked questions

How does tinting work?

Tinting blends your chosen color into the image based on luminance. Bright areas take on more of the tint color, while dark areas are less affected. The result is a color wash or duotone-like effect.

Will tinting change the original colors completely?

No — tinting shifts the color balance rather than replacing colors entirely. For a full color replacement effect, combine tinting with a grayscale conversion first.

Can I achieve a sepia effect?

Yes — convert images to grayscale first, then apply a warm sepia tint (e.g. #704214 or #c8a882). Run both operations in the same job for a one-step sepia conversion.

Is this a Pro feature?

Yes — image tinting is available on Pro and Business plans.
