Frequently asked questions

What does auto-enhance actually do?

Auto-enhance applies tonal normalization — it finds the darkest and brightest pixels in the image and stretches the tonal range so the full spectrum from black to white is used. This improves contrast and makes colors appear more vivid.

Will it work on every image?

Auto-enhance improves images that are flat, underexposed, or have a narrow tonal range. If an image is already well-exposed and properly contrasted, the effect will be minimal.

Is the result consistent across a batch?

Each image is normalized independently based on its own tonal content, so results may vary between images. For consistent manual adjustments, use the Adjust Colors tool instead.

Is this a Pro feature?

Yes — auto-enhance is available on Pro and Business plans.
