Frequently asked questions
What image formats can I resize?
PixelForge supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, and AVIF. You can resize all formats and optionally convert them during the same operation.
Will my images lose quality when resized?
Only if you choose JPEG output and reduce quality. For lossless formats like PNG, resizing does not reduce quality. You control output quality with the compression setting.
Can I maintain the original aspect ratio?
Yes. Enable 'Maintain Aspect Ratio' and the image will be scaled proportionally to fit within your specified dimensions without cropping.
Is there a limit on how many images I can resize at once?
Free users can resize up to 10 images per batch (20 MB total). Pro users get up to 500 images (500 MB), and Business users get up to 5,000 images (5 GB).
